Arbor and Class Dojo

At Orchid Vale Primary School, we place a strong emphasis on clear, timely and respectful communication between school and home. We are committed to ensuring that parents receive accurate and appropriate responses within a reasonable timeframe.

We use Arbor to share important messages, updates and emails, helping to keep families informed about school life.

Class Dojo is used as an informal channel to share relevant day-to-day information with your child’s class teacher. To ensure that your enquiry reaches the most appropriate member of staff as quickly as possible, we recommend contacting the school office via enquiries@orchidvale.org.uk. We aim to respond to all communications within 48 hours, although some enquiries may require additional time to be fully addressed.

ClassDojo at Orchid Vale

 We use ClassDojo as a platform to keep in touch with parents/carers, post exciting events and information and to give parents/carers a view into our day at school. We hope that you enjoy using ClassDojo as much as we do and strongly encourage you to join us!

Teachers create a post for the Class Story. This is sent to all parents/carers in this class. Here are some examples of what has been shared so far!

Our school has a collective "School Story". All teachers are able to post here and these posts reach all staff, parents/carers and students. We use this to celebrate good news, share events and send reminders.
